HYANNIS – Police arrested a Dorchester man Monday for allegedly selling crack cocaine to local drug dealers.
Charles Dorisca, 24, was charged with drug trafficking, according to a Barnstable police press release.
Detectives from the Barnstable and Yarmouth police departments, armed with a search warrant, found Dorisca in a rental car Monday. He was in the back of the Tiki Port restaurant parking lot on Route 132 in Hyannis, according to the press release. During the search, they allegedly found 35 grams of crack cocaine and $1,200 in cash. Police put the street value of the cocaine at $4,000. Both police departments had been investigating Dorisca and made several undercover purchases of cocaine from him, according to the press release.
