Charges filed against Somerville resident for recording women

A man in Somerville, Massachusetts is facing charges for recording a woman while inside a public restroom, wickedlocal.com reported on February 10.

Reports said 27-year-old Ryan Perez was charged on January 23 with photographing, videotaping, or surveilling a partially nude or nude person. The female in question, whose name was withheld, alleges that Perez was taking footage of her while inside a Porter Square restroom around 12:00 p.m. Arresting police also discovered marijuana on Perez who is now in custody without bail. Perez previously has been arrested for similar charges where he pleaded guilty. Perez is scheduled to appear in court on February 24.
