Former Fall River Criminal Defense Attorney Ed Kelly to be Released from Prison

Former criminal defense lawyer Ed Kelly has been granted parole after serving 3 out of a 3-5 state year prison sentence.  Ed Kelly had been indicted in Bristol County District Attorney’s Office for crimes that included forging the signatures of prosecutors and judges and posing as a member of the district attorney’s office to call off the Commonwealth’s witnesses for trial.  As part of Mr. Kelly’s original sentence, he will now be on probation for an 8 year period.
