On January 23, teen star Justin Bieber was arrested in Miami for driving while intoxicated and for avoiding arrest, as CNN reported.
The 19-year-old Canadian artist was apprehended by police at around 4 a.m. in a residential area in Miami Beach after he was seen competing in a street race. Bieber was reportedly driving a yellow Lamborghini at a speed of 55 to 60 mph on a 30 mph speed limit road when he was stopped. He was booked in a Miami jail on charges of drunk driving, driving without a valid license, and resisting arrest after failing a sobriety test given to him.
Bieber was released on the same day after posting a bail of $2,500. Another 19-year-old recording artist racing with Bieber was also arrested.
