Massachusetts man arraigned for DWI after striking DOT truck

A 33-year-old Massachusetts man has been arraigned on drunk driving charges after his car collided with a Department of Transportation truck.

According to Rhode Island State Police, the man was traveling on Interstate 95 when he crashed into the vehicle just after 1 a.m.

After he was taken into custody by police, the man took two breathalyzer tests that showed that he had a blood alcohol level of .252 and .250. He was held overnight in jail and has been ordered to reappear in court on October 10. He pleaded not guilty to the drunk driving charges.
