Massachusetts school bus driver arrested for DUI

A Hopkinton man was recently arrested on charges that he was driving a school bus while intoxicated, ABC News reported October 19.

According to reports, Hopkinton High School bus driver Robert Murphy was referred to police by one of the coaches on the bus. The bus was transporting the school’s cross country team.

Officer Aaron O’Neil of the Hopkinton Police arrested Murphy, and charged him with driving under the influence (DUI) after conducting field sobriety tests. Police stated that it was already Murphy’s third DUI charge and he was scheduled for a hearing at Framingham District Court on October 20.
