R&B singer and bodyguard charged with assault

R&B star Chris Brown and another man had court dates on Monday, October 28 after being charged with assault due to punching a man near the W Hotel the night before.

Reports from CBS News stated that Chris Brown and Christopher Hollosy, his bodyguard, were both charged with felony assault after punching an unidentified man at around 4 a.m. on Sunday, October 27. The man was hospitalized due to injuries he sustained from the fight, and police stated that the charges against the R&B singer and Hollosy were based on the injuries sustained by the victim.

Brown was in Washington for a performance when the incident happened.
