HYANNIS – A Hyannis man faces several drug charges after hiding cocaine, Klonopin and marijuana in his underwear, police say.

The discovery stemmed when members of the multiple-agency Barnstable Street Crimes Unit stopped a speeding vehicle on South Street around 1:40 a.m. Saturday, according to a Barnstable police press release.

Hyannis resident Tony D. Johnson, 27, allegedly had oxycodone pills and $2,040 in cash. He was charged with oxycodone possession with the intent to distribute. Passenger Michael C. Wilson, a 31-year-old

Hyannis man, was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, according to the news release.

After Wilson was booked, police discovered he was wearing several pairs of underwear, according to the release. He allegedly hid 26 grams of crack cocaine, 10 Klonopin pills and 1_/2 ounces of marijuana in the underwear.

He was charged with trafficking cocaine, Klonopin possession with the intent to distribute and marijuana possession with the intent to distribute.

Johnson was released after posting $2,500 cash bail; Wilson was held on a $10,000 cash bail. Both men were scheduled for arraignment today.
