Rapper Wiz Khalifa was stopped at an El Paso airport, and police arrested him for a marijuana possession charge, an article by USA Today reported on May 25.
According to the police statement, the 26-year-old rapper, whose real name is Cameron Thomaz, was subjected to a search order at El Paso airport due to lack of proper identification. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) personnel later summoned police when they discovered Wiz possessed a container that held marijuana. The Pennsylvania-based musician was released after posting a $300 bail. He performed at a music festival in El Paso that weekend.
