The State on February 26 revealed that “Armageddon” and “Remember the Titans” star William Patton was nabbed in Isle of Palms after authorities suspected him of driving a vehicle while drunk.
An incident report stated that on February 24 a police officer noticed a vehicle driven by Patton, 60, swerving into the median lane of Palm Boulevard. The actor reportedly showed signs of intoxication; the officer reported that he seemed disoriented when he was asked for his information and had difficulty walking. Patton was transported to a detention facility in Charleston County and was later discharged after posting a “$977 personal recognizance bond.” A court hearing on March 24 is scheduled for Patton.
