A Yarmouth family was recently arrested by police after they were suspected of running a heroin ring from their home amid a surge of heroin overdose fatalities on the Cape. According to reports, Lisa and Michael Johnson, ages 43 and 44 respectively, and their daughter Noelle, age 19, were arrested in their home at 9 Vacation Avenue after police conducted a raid. Police stated that they recovered heroin and other drug-related distribution materials in the Johnson’s bedrooms.
Charges of conspiracy and drug distribution were later filed against the three family members. Another person, identified as 26-year-old Jeffrey Laurie, was also arrested at the home during the raid. The series of arrests were made after three recent deaths due to heroin overdose were reported on the Cape.
