Glendale Police arrest Drake Bell for drunk driving

A December 22 article of NBC News revealed that American celebrity Drake Bell was arrested in Glendale, California after authorities suspected him of operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. Bell is most known for his role in “Drake & Josh,” which aired from 2004 to 2007.

Reports said officers in suburban Los Angeles observed the 29-year-old former Nickelodeon actor recklessly driving his vehicle with excessive speed on December 21. Police spokesperson Tahnee Lightfoot told reporters the following day that Bell smelled of alcohol and failed a field sobriety test when officers pulled him over. Reports showed that Bell was later discharged from custody on December 21; he did not issue a statement regarding his arrest.
