LAPD arrest Chris Brown due to assault suspicions

Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) officers recently arrested Chris Brown at his Tarzana residence after being notified of his involvement in an alleged assault incident with a firearm, the Los Angeles Times reported on August 31.

Reports said, Brown, 27, was taken into custody on August 30 after a woman named Baylee Curran claimed that the singer threatened her with a gun while at his home in the 5000 block of Corbin Avenue. Curran, who was at the singer’s house together with a friend, claimed that she was admiring the jewelry accessories of another man when the assault took place. Records from the Los Angeles County Jail revealed that at around 11:15 p.m. of the same day, Brown was released after settling a bail worth $250,000. A court schedule on September 20 was set for Brown.
