An irate Wendy’s customer in Sturbridge, Massachusetts was recently charged with intoxicated driving after he allegedly cursed at the drive-thru’s employees, My Fox Boston reported on March 23.
Sturbridge authorities arrested and charged Zachary Berry, 23, for operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and negligent driving. Wendy’s employees on Charlton Road contacted police at around 12:45 a.m. after Berry, who was in the drive-thru lane, grew angry at them. Berry cussed at the employees after they told him to wait due to a problem with his order. Police Sergeant Kevin Mercier said they arrested Berry after conducting a field sobriety test; they later found his blood alcohol content to be 0.13 percent.
