Yarmouth authorities arrested a man after discovering child pornography materials in his possession, an article of masslive.com reported on June 2.
Reports state that South Yarmouth resident 48-year-old James Lawrence was arrested on May 31 after Robert Smith of the of the Massachusetts State Police-Computer Crimes Unit tipped off local police regarding Lawrence’s activities. Armed with a search warrant, authorities cornered Lawrence and took his cellphone to confirm that it held images of child pornography. Lawrence was later taken to the Massachusetts State Police Barracks while awaiting a court appearance.
