A man who was recently apprehended in Hyannis after authorities suspected he was driving a vehicle while under the influence entered a not guilty plea to what is his third OUI offense in Barnstable District Court.

Several drunk driving-related charges on were filed against 63-year-old Richard Kiley on December 11 after an incident in which he was stopped by police on West Main Street after crossing a double yellow line. Police said they noticed several possible signs of intoxication while talking to Kiley, including slurred speech, bloodshot eyes, and the smell of alcohol. Reports said Kiley had a hard time balancing while undergoing sobriety tests, and the arresting officers stated that they found alcohol in his vehicle during a search.
