Man in Yarmouth busted for cocaine

A man was recently taken into custody by Yarmouth authorities after they discovered he was hiding cocaine inside his vehicle, a June 28 article of capecod.com reported.

According to reports, on June 28 at 1:37 a.m., 45-year-old Andrew Lockhart was driving a 2015 Honda CRV when he was stopped in South Yarmouth. Apprehending police officers Christopher Marino, Alexander Xiarhos, and Christopher Eccleston initially noticed that Lockhart’s vehicle had defective equipment. Authorities later took Lockhart into custody after they recovered cocaine from his vehicle. A court arraignment is scheduled for Lockhart in the Barnstable District Court on July 5.
