Motley Crue’s Vince Neil accused of attacking woman

Heavy metal rocker and Motley Crue member Vince Neil is being threatened with imprisonment after he allegedly attacked a woman in a Las Vegas hotel, an article of Rolling Stone reported on July 6.

Reports said 55-year-old Neil may face up to six months of jail time if he is found guilty of taking a woman at the Aria Hotel to the ground by pulling her hair. The woman was reportedly trying to get an autograph from Hollywood star Nicolas Cage when the incident occurred. Neil engaged in a brawl with Cage outside the hotel, which a bystander captured on video. Authorities decided to charge Neil with misdemeanor battery, Las Vegas Police officer Michael Rodriguez confirmed to media outlets. Neil, whose previous charges include a similar offense, is expected to appear in court on July 27.
