Florida authorities confirmed on September 23 that football player Austin Seferian-Jenkins was taken into custody after driving while under the influence of intoxicants in Tampa Bay, a report of nfl.com said.
A spokesperson for the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Department told reports that the 23-year-old former member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was transported to Orient Road Jail hours after his arrest. Reports revealed that Seferian-Jenkins was stopped after he was seen driving erratically and speeding. Several charges were also filed against the player after he was discovered driving with an invalid license prior to a previous arrest. The spokesperson also said the Buccaneers waived the Seferian-Jenkins arrest.
