Well-known professional basketball player and actor, Dennis Rodman, could be locked up if found guilty of the misdemeanor charges filed against him in Orange County, a report of CNN stated on November 21.
The charges reportedly stemmed from a vehicular accident in Santa Ana in June involving the former Chicago Bulls’ power forward. Information coming from the state’s highway patrol revealed that Rodman, 55, nearly struck a vehicle head-on on the freeway as he was driving in the opposite lane. The vehicle approaching toward him struck a concrete wall in an attempt to avoid crashing him. Rodman was suspected of fleeing the crash scene, authorities said. Other charges were also filed against Rodman after authorities learned that his license was invalid at the time and he provided wrong information to the authorities. Rodman is scheduled to appear in court on January 20.
