Suspected drunk driver busted in Wellfleet for crashing into police vehicles

A suspected drunk driver was recently arrested in Wellfleet, Massachusetts after crashing his vehicle into at least two patrol vehicles, an article of capecod.com reported on August 14.

Reports said authorities arrested 33-year-old Juan Fontanez after he crashed into two patrol vehicles while officers were administering a field sobriety test to another driver to at 1600 Route 6. Fontanez’s vehicle flipped onto its roof after causing a chain-reaction collision with the two patrol vehicles. Fontanez was charged with drunk driving, marked lane violations, and reckless driving. The vehicle driver who was originally stopped at 1600 Route 6 was also charged with drunk driving, as well as child endangerment.
