American actor David Cassidy, who was famous for his role on the 1970’s sitcom “The Patridge Family,” was arrested in Southern California after he was suspected of drunk driving, according to news reports on Saturday, January 11.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on January 10 when the 63-year-old actor was stopped by an officer after he illegally turned right at a red light near Los Angeles International Airport. Cassidy was taken to custody and was released the following day after he posted a bail of $15,000. Cassidy, who played the role of “Keith Partridge” in the television sitcom, is expected to appear in court on February 5.
